The calendar still says August but soon it will be Labor Day, the kids will be heading back to school, and then before you know it the leaves will be changing and fall will be here. With summer winding down it is time to start thinking about holiday travel. The days surrounding Thanksgiving and Christmas are traditionally two of the busiest and most stressful times of the year to travel. • Travel early or late in the day. Airports are least congested at these times.

• Stay up-to-date on weather conditions to plan for delays and to pack accordingly.


• If traveling with gifts, do not wrap them as they will most likely be searched. Whenever possible, ship gifts ahead of time to your destination.
