With one of the busiest travel periods of the year now behind us, there is still more to come as the holidays are just beginning. There is no doubt this stresses out even the most even-keeled among us. Let's face it, traveling, especially by air, can be downright unpleasant even at the slowest of times. Throw in the hustle and bustle of the holidays and its no wonder so many actually dread this time of year rather than embracing it.
So what went wrong? How did we get from a time when air travel was an "event" that people even dressed up for to a dreaded task that people want to avoid?
